To fully prepare for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and to meet increasing demand due to more and more international guests with different requirements, the entire hostel has undertaken large scale internal and external renovations, as well as a great step in technical improvement. New bedding and furniture will replace the old and more washrooms and showers have been added.

Two more sections have been put into operation and the fourth is under renovation which will be complete and ready for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

Red Lantern House now consists of the Main Building, West Yard, East Yard and Temple Courtyard. They are all located in the same neighbourhood and better yet, even on the same street. We have increased the choices of different accommodations that are available to suit your needs and tastes.

Whether you’re traveling on your own, as a couple, a whole family, as a group, the old or young, doesn’t matter, you will surely enjoy yourselves comfortably in a new home. We even have handicap-accessable rooms for the disabled.

Red Lantern House East Yard began it’s trial operation in the middle of October, 2007 and soon after it has gained wide acceptance and very good reputation from the guests who have stayed there. We thank our previous guests who have written such great reviews on many websites.

All rooms in the East Yard are private with twin/double beds including a private bathroom in each room. New facilities and up to date equipment have been installed. Guests will surely experience more privacy and quietness as well as more comforts and convenience.

The price for twin/double bed private room ensuite cost 260-280RMB/night. Just like the other locations, tours and information service is available in the new yard.
